Hamilton Lacrosse also offers Rep Level lacrosse with the team name of "Hamilton Bengals", for those interested in participating at a higher level of competition. Bengal teams play against other lacrosse associations from all over Ontario. Rep teams travel in the OLA’s Zone 9 for regular season games and to various weekend tournaments from April to August. Bengal tryouts start in early April for boys’ and girls’ teams. All participants must be registered with HLA before they can try out. There is an additional cost required to play at the rep level.

Regular Season games take place between Zone 9 Centres: Burlington, Fort Erie, Hamilton, Lincoln, Niagara-on-the-Lake, St. Catharine's, Simcoe, Six Nations, and Welland.  Not all Centres have teams in all age groups.

Insurance

• Please ensure the HLA insurance form is completed: Insurance

• Sessions are $10 per player, per session

• Payment can be made by cash to Coach Nicole or via e-transfer to treasurer.hamiltonlacrosse@gmail.com

• Please include a note in the e-transfer indicating what the payment is for

• All funds go directly toward the 2026 girls box lacrosse program

• Full equipment will be required going forward, as we will be introducing contact drills

• If your athlete does not yet have all required equipment, they are still welcome to attend but will not be able to participate in contact drills

• With tryouts approaching in April, contact drills will be an essential part of our development

• If your athlete is committed to playing this season, I strongly recommend investing in the required equipment now to be fully prepared. You can source equipment online, or in person at ILA Sports, Hockey Life, Source for Sports, Sport Chek, Canadian Tire.

• Sweatpants will not be permitted during training sessions or season practices

• Players may wear leggings or shorts
