Rep Box Lacrosse

Hamilton Lacrosse also offers Rep Level lacrosse with the team name of "Hamilton Bengals", for those interested in participating at a higher level of competition. Bengal teams play against other lacrosse associations from all over Ontario. Rep teams travel in the OLA’s Zone 9 for regular season games and to various weekend tournaments from April to August. Bengal tryouts start in early April for boys’ and girls’ teams. All participants must be registered with HLA before they can try out. There is an additional cost required to play at the rep level.

Regular Season games take place between Zone 9 Centres: Burlington, Fort Erie, Hamilton, Lincoln, Niagara-on-the-Lake, St. Catharine's, Simcoe, Six Nations, and Welland. Not all Centres have teams in all age groups.

REP FITTING NIGHT DETAILS

All Bengals players will be asked to attend a rep fitting night on April 15th: 6:00pm-8:30pm
Location: Dave Andreychuk Arena (Mountain Arena): 25 Hester Street, Hamilton
Players will be fitted for shorts, warm up shirt, golf shirts
Additional Bengals gear will be available for purchase!
Can’t make the fitting night- You will have to visit THQ directly by April 17th end of day at the latest!

BENGALS TRYOUT REGISTRATION- NOW OPEN

Registration for 2025 Bengals Tryouts is NOW OPEN

Welcome to 2025 Bengals Tryouts! We are excited to see everyone back out on the floor!

Bengals Tryouts will start Monday March 31st at Stoney Creek Arena. U9-U17 teams will each have 4 tryouts dates. Schedule posted below!

1 Team tryouts will run from March 31st to April 9th

2 Team tryouts will start April 10th

Again this season, pre-registration is mandatory for the 2025 tryout process.

Tryout cost will be $60* per player and payment will be made on the first night of tryouts by either DEBIT (.52 cent transaction fee) or by CASH (exact change). The tryout fee covers floor time and a tryout pinnie.

Also note that all players must be registered and paid via SportzSoft for either house league (U9-U15) or Rep (U15-U17) for the 2025 season to participate in tryouts. If you have not completed your base registration, you can do so here: Base Registration

GIRLS BOX LACROSSE IS COMING TO HAMILTON

For the 2025 Season, Hamilton Lacrosse is looking to field a U13 girls box team. We are looking for eligible players that would be interested and are born in 2015, 2014, & 2013!
