The outdoor girls' field lacrosse season runs from April to the end of July. Hamilton currently runs rep teams who participate in the Ontario Women's Field Lacrosse League, OWFL, and introduced house league in 2018. The house league will give local players and their parents a chance to join the growing ranks of lacrosse players in Canada. Hamilton's girls' field lacrosse has been growing every year since its induction in 2011.
Bengal Cubs -- Hamilton's house league is for girls ages 4 to 11. The house league runs Tuesdays from 6-7 p.m., for eight weeks starting in mid-May at Kay Drage Park in Hamilton. Players and their parents will learn and develop their lacrosse skills in a fun and creative environment.
Bengals -- Hamilton's rep teams run from the end of March to the end of July. These teams are offered from U11 up to Senior divisions and will participate in games on either Saturday or Sunday from May to July with a final provincial tournament at the end of the season. Rep teams usually practice on average of two days during the week. While these are rep teams, we do encourage new players in the younger age categories. HLA promotes learning and fundamentals in order to develop the well rounded players. We are currently looking for new or returning U11 rep players to fill out our roster.
