Welcome to Hamilton Girls' Field Lacrosse

The outdoor girls' field lacrosse season runs from April to the end of July.

Hamilton offers rep teams for all ages and a house league for those age U13. The house league will  give local players and their parents a chance to join the growing ranks of lacrosse players in Canada.  Hamilton's girls' field lacrosse has been growing every year since its induction in 2011. Our rep teams participate in the Ontario Women's Field Lacrosse League, OWFL.

Hamilton's house league for girls ages 4 to 11, is expected to run eight weeks on Tuesdays starting in mid-May. Players and their parents will learn and develop their lacrosse skills in a fun and creative environment.

Hamilton's rep teams run from the end of March to the end of July or start of August. These teams are offered from U11 up to Senior divisions and will participate in games on either Saturday or Sunday from May to July with a final provincial tournament at the end of the season. Rep teams usually practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  While these are rep teams, we do encourage new players in the younger age categories. HLA promotes learning and fundamentals in order to develop the well rounded players.

Girls' field lacrosse requires minimal equipment. Goggles, stick, mouth guard and cleats are all a player required to play. All new U11 age registrations will receive an entry level stick with their paid registration.

Hamilton Girls' Field Lacrosse Director s Bill Moore will be happy to answer any questions new or returning players may have. Please contact him at wdmoore@rogers.com
