HLA Family,

In accordance with the Ontario Lacrosse Association and the City of Hamilton, the Hamilton Lacrosse Association has extended the postponement of all in-person Lacrosse activities until May 25th. All facilities operated by the City of Hamilton will remain closed until this date.

But this delay comes with optimism.

Social Distancing is helping!

Our entire organization has been inspired by all the efforts we’ve seen by our members to maintain social-distancing obligations while still enjoying Lacrosse at home. Keeping our community safe - especially those working within our healthcare system – is a top priority. We applaud everyone for all of the cautious measures you’re taking.

2020-Season planning is in the works!

Currently, we are in the process of planning for the return of Lacrosse. In the coming weeks, we will be working closely with our partners, suppliers, and the City of Hamilton, to ensure this return is as seamless as possible. Updates will be provided as we approach these dates and/or as they arise. Please continue to watch for emails, monitor our website – www.hamiltonlacrosse.com – and our social media channels.

Our advice to all of our Hamilton Lacrosse Association players – keep a stick and ball in your hands!

This is a great opportunity to sharpen key fundamental skills like cradling, passing, and catching. It’ll make a big difference once we get started!

Thank you,
Greg Gillis
President, Hamilton Lacrosse Association
